This is a fantastic talk by Jeff Rubin, the former economist from CIBC about peak oil, triple digit oil prices and the changes coming to the world economy.
This talk is basically an encapsulation of his book, Why Your World Is About to Get a Whole Lot Smaller: Oil and the End of Globalization.
I watched the first few minutes of this and then the video got jammed up. I’ll have to try watching the rest of it later. I’m curious to see if he brings up Iraqi oil in this. From what I gather, Iraq has plenty of of it, and it will be a lot easier (and cheaper) to extract than some of the other sources this fellow mentioned at the beginning of his presentation.
