A must read from Jeff Matthews on a major CEO warning that because of rising taxes and the pending health care legislation, he is not hiring anyone in the US.

Sounds like the “major CEO” has never had to buy individual health care insurance as an entrepreneur in 2009. In the current market, he would be automatically denied due to a range of pre-existing conditions. I would be fascinated to learn how he would enjoy life without basic health insurance coverage.

I don’t think the health care plan is perfect, but at this point the proposed reforms are *much* preferable to the status quo.

And making it easier/possible to buy health insurance fuels entrepreneurial ventures, which is great for America’s long-term economic growth.

Just one entrepreneur’s point of view.
